Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb led Tripura Government is sincerely initiating steps for holistic development of Muslim Population of the State. National president of BJP Minority Morcha Jamaluddin Siddiqui said this while addressing a press meet in Agartala on Sunday.
He also said, be it restoration of Waqf properties or education, the Tripiura Government is working for the welfare of Minority Community in the State. People of Minority Community need to actively take part in the initiatives for the sake of inclusive development of the Community as well as the State.
The National president of BJP Minority Morcha hailed the BJP-led State Government for its various initiatives to improve the socio-economic condition of the Muslim population of the State. Jamaluddin Siddiqui said, the Tripura Government led by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, within a short time after assuming power in 2018, has taken steps recover Waqf properties.
During the previous CPM regime, several Waqf properties were encroached but the then Government took to step to stop encroachment and recover the properties, Siddiqui alleged.
Talking about education and skill development initiatives, Siddiqui highlighted Government’s plan to make education, even in Madrassas, compatible to need of the present day. The outlook of the Government in this regard will immensely benefit the Muslim Community of the State, he opined.
“I have gone to several States and I told them to visit Tripura to note down the steps initiated by the Government for the benefit of minority people”, Siddiqui commented.
He urged all the Muslims to step forward and particiapte in the developmental plans of the Government for holistic development of the Community. Siddiqui reminded that PM Modi had envisioned a terrorism-free and Naxal-free India and State Government is working in this regard.
