Agartala (Tripura) July 8: Mark the calendar as Post Offices in Tripura gear up for the cutting-edge Advanced Platform Technology (APT) Application launch on July 15. Superintendent of Post Offices, Agartala Postal Division Manik Lal Das shared the information. He also said that July 14 has been designated as the transition day, during which no public transactions will take place at these post offices.
Das, however, expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to customers due to the one-day suspension of services at the concerned post offices, sub-post offices, and branches on July 14.
The Postal Department announced the launch of the next-generation APT application to provide cutting-edge technological services to customers, marking a historic milestone in digital excellence. As part of this transformative initiative, the advanced service will be rolled out from July 15 at the General Post Office in Agartala, along with 25 sub-post offices and their branches across the state.
The 25 sub-post offices include: Abhaynagar, ONGC, Dhaleshwar and its branches, Mohanpur and its branches, Kunjaban and its branches, Agartala Airport and its branches, Agartala Secretariat, Jagannath Bari Road, Narayanpur and its branches, Sekerkote and its branches, Agartala Bazar, Arundhutinagar and its branches, Jampuijala and its branches, NIT Agartala, Sidhai and its branches, Agartala College and its branches, Birendranagar and its branches, Kamalghat and its branches, Ramnagar and its branches, Tripura University, Agartala Court, Bishalgarh and its branches, Khayerpur and its branches, Ranirbazar and its branches, and Shalbagan and its branches.

To enable a seamless and secure transition to this advanced digital platform, July 14 has been designated as the transition day, during which no public transactions will take place at these post offices.

The APT application is designed to provide an enhanced user experience, faster service delivery, and a more customer-friendly framework, ensuring smart, efficient, and highly responsive services.
The Postal Department has firmly stated that these steps are being taken to provide every citizen with improved, faster, and more digitally empowered services.
