February 05, 2018: Red Party supporters today breezed through Dharmanagar and Panisagar area making a clarion call for victory in ensuing State Assembly Polls. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar – visibly pleased to see large turn-outs – especially in Dharmanagar where CPIM candidate tasted defeated in last Assembly Polls – urged people to remain alert against forces trying to divide society in the name of caste and religion and ensure victories of Left Candidates for development and peace in the State.
Addressing the ‘mammoth’ gathering Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said, discontent among the youths and overall common people in the country against the Modi-Government is overwhelming. He said, countrywide protests against Modi-Government’s ‘anti-people’ policies have rocked the BJP-RSS-VHP and sensing danger, BJP is adopting its divisive tactics and trying to divide the society in the line of caste, creed and religion.
He alleged, economic slump is obvious in all sectors and agricultural sector is the worst sufferer. He criticized the BJP Government for unabated farmers’ suicide and increase in prices of essential commodities.
