ProMASS News Bureau: Sep 18, 2016: Home Minister Rajnath Singh has blamed Pakistan for terror attack in Uri saying there are definite and conclusive indications that the perpetrators were highly trained, heavily armed and specially equipped. In a series of tweets, he said Pakistan is a terrorist state and it should be identified and isolated as such.
Mr. Singh said he is deeply disappointed with Islamabad’s continued and direct support to terrorism and terrorist groups. He asserted that those behind this terror incident would be brought to justice. Earlier, Rajnath SIngh held a high level meeting in New Delhi and reviewed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Union Home and Defence Secretaries and top Army, Paramilitary officials attended the meeting. Mr. Singh said he has apprised Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the deliberations of the security review meeting. He said he is deeply distressed at the incident in which 17 brave soldiers were martyred. He also expressed condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers.
