ProMASS, Oct 6, 2016: Security forces have gunned down three terrorists in Langate area of Handwara region of Jammu and Kashmir early Thursday morning. Commanding Officer of 30 Rashtriya Rifles, Colonel Rajiv Saharan detailed out the operation carried out by the security forces. He said Huge cache of arms and ammunition has been recovered from the terrorists including three AK-47 rifles. Search operation is underway after the area was cordoned off by the forces to flush out any terrorists that might have been hiding. He also said that the items recovered from the terrorists have Pakistani marking on them.
Meanwhile, in separate incidents, Army foiled three infiltration bids along the LoC last night. Two bids in Naugam Sector and One bid in Rampur Sector were foiled.
