Feb 96, 2017: A 5.8 magnitude tremor rattled North India including Delhi and Noida at around 10.30PM today. According to News agencies, epicenter of tonight’s tremor is located in Uttarakhand’s Rudraparayag district. The earth quake lasted for 30 seconds. However there is no report of loss of lives or property so far.
In a tweet PM Narendra Modi remarked, Spoke to officials and took stock of the situation in the wake of earthquake felt in various parts of North India. The Home Minister Rajnath has asked detailed report on earth quake and NDRF have been put on high alert.
