Feb 14, 2017: On Valentine’s Day, Sashikala has received the bad news – she has been convicted by the Supreme Court on Disproportionate Asset (DA) case. According to media reports, she has been sentenced to four years of imprisonment. Moreover, the Apex Court in its verdict, has barred her from contesting polls.

The verdict has clearly dashed Sashikala’s aspiration to become TN Chief Minister and decks are now appears to be clear for care taker CM OPS to take over the realm of Tamil Nadu once again.
