Feb 16, 2017: Uncertainty over political situation Tamil Nadu appears to be over as TN Governor Vidyasagar Rao has inviteed ruling AIADMK’s new Legislature Party Leader Edappadi K Palaniswami to form government in the State. He has been asked to prove majority within 15 days, News Agencies reported.

Edappadi K. Palaniswamy met Governor at Raj Bhavan this morning. Following conviction of Ms VK Sasikala in the Disproportionate Assets case, Palaniswamy was elected in her place on Tuesday at Kuvathur resort where the party MLAs are staying.
O.Panneerselvam camp is reportedly in a huddle at the official residence of the acting chief minister.
