Mar 19, 2017: Yogi Adityanath today take oath as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He was today sworn in as the 21st Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh along with BJP’s state unit chief Keshav Prasad Maurya and party’s national Vice President Dinesh Sharma as Deputy Chief Ministers. Governor Ram Naik administered the oath to the Chief Ministers and his council of ministers in Lucknow.
Also, 22 cabinet ministers, nine ministers of state with independent charge and 13 ministers of states were also administered the oath. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his congratulations to Yogi Adityanath, Keshav Prasad Maurya, Dinesh Sharma and all those who took oath today.
Top BJP leaders and Chief Ministers of several States attended the swear-in ceremony. Among the prominent guests, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, senior party leaders L.K. Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu, Samjwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, outgoing Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav attended the ceremony.
