Mar 28 ,2017: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has urged primary school teachers to instil good qualities in students from the nascent stage. “Teachers have a big responsibility of building good citizens and primary school teachers are agents of change”, Sonowal said during a function organised for distribution of appointment letters to teachers. “For building a society based on equality and to meet modern day challenges like corruption and increasing crimes, the education system must produce citizens with high moral values and integrity,” Sonowal said. Appointment letters were given to 4823 Primary and Upper Primary teachers, recruited through Teacher Eligibility Test. (AIR NEWS)
