August 20, 2017: Sending a stern message about zero tolerance towards train accidents, the Union Railway Ministry on Sunday sent three top railway officials on leave while four officials were suspended for Kalinga Utkal Express derailment.
Web edition of Times of India reported, the ministry sent member (engineering) railway board Aditya Kumar Mittal, general manager (GM) Northern Railways R K Kulshrestha and divisional railway manager (DRM) R N Singh on leave till further orders.
