September 04, 2017: BRICS summit begins in Xiamen City of China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is attending the summit. Business forum of the summit opened last night with the address by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

AIR correspondent reports that the BRICS Cultural Festival, BRICS Leaders’ Dialogue with BRICS Business Council and Signing of documents Ceremony will also be held today. Host country China has also invited five guest countries for the summit under its BRICS plus approach. They are Egypt, Kenya, Tajikistan, Mexico and Thailand. (AIR News)
