J&K: Pakistani forces again resorts to firing and heavy mortar shelling along LoC

October 04,2017:     In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces today again resorted to firing and heavy mortar shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch district.

In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces today again resorted to firing and heavy mortar shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch district. The correspondent quoting defence sources said that the forces from across the Line of Control started unprovoked firing and shelling targeting Indian positions and civilian areas in Degwar sector of Poonch at about 9 a.m..

The troops guarding the borderline retaliated. The heavy exchange of fire continuing when last reported. Uptil now, there is no report of any casualty or injury from the Indian side.     (AIR NEWS)
