Two terrorists killed in encounter in Jammu and Kashmir

March 16, 2018: In Jammu and Kashmir, two unidentified terrorits were killed in the Balhama Khunmoh area during overnight operation in the outskirts of Srinagar city. The cordon and search operation was launched in the area following an attack on security guards of a local BJP leader Thursday afternoon.

One CRPF jawan sustained injuries in the initial phase of operation. The gunfight erupted after security forces were fired upon by the hiding gunmen during the search operation. A police spokesman told  that incriminating materials including weapons and ammunition had been recovered from the encounter site.
