Jammu and Kashmir: Gunfight between security forces & terrorists in Shopian

May 06, 2018: In Jammu and Kashmir, a gunfight broke out in between security forces and terrorists in Badigam Imam Sahib area of south Kashmir Shopian district early this morning. Security sources said, two to three terrorists are believed to be trapped in the area. The exchange of fire is on. More details are awaited. (AIR News)

DD News reports: In Jammu and Kashmir, Police and CRPF personnel foiled a possible terror strike on Saturday killing three Lashker-e-Taiba militants in the outskirts of the Srinagar after a four-hour-long operation. Four security personnel were injured in the gunfight but all of them are stated to be stable.
