May 25, 2018: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the last few years have been a golden chapter in India-Bangladesh relations during which complicated issues of land and coastal boundaries were resolved.
Mr Modi said, be it road, railways, international waterways or coastal shipping, the two countries are rapidly moving forward in the area of connectivity.
Mr Modi was addressing the students of Visva Bharati University after inaugurating Bangladesh Bhavan at Shantiniketan in West Bengal with his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina today.
Prime Minister said the government will take initiatives to ensure that the youth of both the countries get to know about the cultural contributions made by dignitaries of the two nations.
Mr Modi said the shared heritage of the two countries and Rabindra Sangeet has sweetened India-Bangladesh ties over the years. (AIR News)
