June 07, 2018: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana and other healthcare schemes through Namo App; says Govt’s constant endeavour is to ensure affordable healthcare to every citizen; Further says that the Swcahh Bharat Mission is playing a central role in creating a healthy India.
As part of a series of interactions via Namo App, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today interacted with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojna, affordable Cardiac Stents, dialysis and Knee Implants.
Addressing the health schemes beneficiaries through video conferencing, the Prime Minister said that middle class, poor & downtrodden are more vulnerable to disease which leads to economic losses.
The Prime Minister said that government took several steps to overcome the difficulties of middle class in health services.
He said that government opened more that 3600 generic medical store across the country to provide affordable medicine to all. (DD News)
