June 19, 2018: The first Budget session of BJP-led Government in Tripura has commenced from today and will continue till June 28 next. During the session, the Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varman who also holds Finance portfolio presented a Rs 16,387 crore budget.
He said, the Budget will boost growth in infrastructure as well as health and education sectors. He proposed to set up four new B Ed colleges.
On implementation of 7th CPC, Jishnu Dev Varman said, a separate fund has been set aside for this purpose.
