The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted All India Senior Secondary Certificate (Class XII) and All India Secondary School Examination (Class X) examinations have started on Friday at Ledrai Dewan Higher Secondary School in Machmara. It will continue till April 1, 2024.
Section 144 has been imposed within 100 meters of the examination center to maintain peace on the days of the examination.
In a notification, the SDM of Kumarghat sub division further said that Section 144 will be in force from 9 am to 5 pm on the days of examination.
The order states that except for the examinees, government employees, police and other law enforcement agencies, five or more persons cannot gather together within 100 meters of the examination center.
Except for the police and law enforcement agencies, no person, including the examinees, will be allowed to carry arms and ammunition in the vicinity of the examination center. Loudspeakers will not be allowed to be used within 100 meters of the examination center during the examination.
