The Art prodigy from Tripura, a Class XII student from Hindi Higher Secondary School in Agartala, has once again made headlines by securing a prestigious spot in the India Book of Records, reaffirming his status as a young art sensation.
Known nationwide as a talented teen artist and India’s youngest influencer, Baibhav earned this latest honor for accumulating the highest number of certificates across art and various co-curricular activities.
His journey into the Record books first began in 2021 when he was recognized for receiving the most certificates in drawing and painting competitions.

According to the latest record update, Baibhav has amassed an astounding 798 certificates from 2012 to 2025, participating in numerous online and offline events spanning art, education, and skill-based contests.

Expressing immense pride in her son’s achievement, Meheli Dey, a section Officer in the Home Department, said Baibhav has so far set 16 national and international records in painting—a feat that stands out as truly remarkable.

“Baibhav’s artwork often reflects deep social concerns. His paintings have tackled issues like child marriage, drug abuse, and mobile addiction, raising awareness among schoolchildren, parents, and the wider community,” she said.
Notably, Baibhav Datta frequently holds workshops on prevention of child marriage in different parts of the State including the remote villages. Capitalizing on his painting talent, Baibhav is working to eradicate the menace of child marriage. His efforts and workshops were greatly appreciated by the officials, community leaders and the participants.
His father, Bhabatosh Datta, is a Senior Scientific Officer in the Department of Science and Technology.
In January 2025, Baibhav was also selected as Tripura’s State Youth Icon and represented the state at the National Youth Festival, further solidifying his role as a youth leader and creative force.

Adding to his impressive list of accolades, Baibhav recently clinched the Gold Medal in the International Online Poster Competition held as part of the National Conference on Climate Emergency 2025, organized by Pune International Centre in collaboration with Khula Aasmaan. Competing in the Group-B category for participants aged 16 and above, Baibhav’s Gold medal winning poster stood out for its impactful message and artistic brilliance.
