Agartala (Tripura) Jul 11: Tripura’s newly sworn-in minister, Kishor Barman, has been entrusted with the charge of Panchayat, Higher Education, and General Administration (Political) departments, according to an official notification issued on Friday.
The allocation was confirmed in a notification by Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, which stated:
“In pursuance of the provision of Rule 5 of the Rules of Executive Business of the Government of Tripura, the Governor, on the advice of the Chief Minister, has been pleased to allocate the business of the government to Shri Kishor Barman with immediate effect.”

Barman, the MLA representing the Nalchar Assembly constituency, was inducted into the state cabinet on July 4, with Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu administering the oath of office and secrecy at Raj Bhavan.
Later in the evening, Kishor Barman took part in the three-day annual fair of Ma Shree Veeramma Kali Temple at Melaghar today.

He pulled the chariot of the Ma Shree Veeramma Kali alongwith the devotees.
Notably, Mahaprasad will be distributed on Saturday.
