Fatal Road Rage: One Dead, Two Critical in Gandachhara
Gandachhara, (Tripura), Nov 28: A tragic road accident claimed one life and left two people critically injured on Friday evening in the Babusai area of the Gandachhara–Amarpur road.

Local reports indicate that a passenger Commander jeep was returning to Gandachhara after a social function. As the vehicle reached the Babusai area in the evening, it suddenly lost control and overturned by the roadside.
The severity of the crash was devastating. Susen Chakma (47), identified as a resident of Jatan Bari in Lepachhara, succumbed to his injuries and was killed instantly at the scene.
His two traveling companions, Jaysen Chakma (65) and Rakesh Chakma (35), sustained severe injuries.
Rescue and Medical Update
The terrifying cries of the injured immediately drew local residents to the site. Following an alarm, personnel from the Gandachhara Fire Service rapidly deployed to the location.
Rescuers promptly extricated the injured individuals and rushed them to the Gandachhara Sub-Divisional Hospital. Susen Chakma was officially declared brought dead upon arrival.
Hospital doctors described the condition of both Jaysen Chakma and Rakesh Chakma as extremely critical. Due to the nature of their complex injuries, medical treatment is being provided “on a war footing”.
Family members and relatives are gathered at the hospital, enduring an anxious wait and praying for the recovery of the two men.
The sudden and heartbreaking tragedy has cast a deep shadow of sorrow over the entire locality.
The family of the deceased is in deep mourning, while local residents are offering prayers for the swift healing of the injured.
The tragic and unexpected end to a social outing has created an atmosphere of silence and profound grief throughout the Gandachhara area.
