CCPA decides to convene Budget Session of Parliament from Jan 31; Budget to be presented on Feb 1st

ProMASS: Jan 03, 2017:   The Budget Session of Parliament will commence from 31st of this month. This was decided at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs,CCPA chaired by Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi today.

Sources said, the general budget will be present on 1st February and the first part of the Budget Session will run till 9th February. The recommendations have been sent to President Pranab Mukherjee for his assent. The CCPA meeting was also attended by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.
