Amit Shah's rally in Tripura on Jan 5: CM Dr Manik Saha visits Sabroom, reviews preparations

In view of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s rallies on January 5 next at Sabroom and Dharmanagar, preparations are going on in full swing. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha visited Sabroom on Monday (Jan 2) to review the preparations for the public rally.

 

The Union Home Minister will hold an election rally at the stadium located in Damdama, adjacent to Sabroom Michael Madhusudan Dutta College, along the Sabroom-Agartala National Highway under the Sabroom Assembly Constituency of South Tripura.

 

After the rally, Amit Shah will flag off the ‘Jana Viswas Abhiyan’ from Sabroom. Under the Jana Viswas Abhiyan, a well decorated vehicle will traverse through 30 Assembly constituencies in the Southern part of the State. A similar Abhiyan will also be flagged off by the Union Minister from Dharmanagar which will cover remaining 30 Assembly constituencies located in the Northern part.

 

The 8-day long Jana Viswas Abhiyan aims at highlighting the welfare and developmental schemes of the State and Central Government. An array of BJP Central leaders and Ministers are expected to attend several public meetings across the State before the Abhiyan comes to an end at Agartala on January 12 next. On that day, All India BJP president JP Nadda will address a public meeting in Agartala.

 

Today, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited the ground adjacent to Sabroom's college on Monday to review the preparations for the rally of the Home Minister.

 

Dr Saha said the Union Home Minister is visiting the state on January 5. Jan Biswas Rath Yatra will start from Dharmanagar in North District and Sabroom in South District. His visit aims at to reviewing the preparations in Sabroom for the rally on January 5.

 

The Chief Minister was accompanied by ICA Minister Sushant Chowdhury, MLA Shankar Roy, South District Magistrate of the South Saju Vaid A, South District Superintendent of Police Kulband Singh Yadav and BJP State general secretary Tinku Roy and others.

 

Earlier, the Chief Minister visited the Sabroom hospital and reviewed the various services of the hospital.
