Andhra Pradesh whiz kid achieves perfect 720/720 score in NEET

Bora Varun Chakravarti, a student from Andhra Pradesh, has emerged as one of the top scorers in the NEET (UG) 2023 examination, securing a flawless 720 out of 720 marks. Alongside J. Prabanjan from Tamil Nadu, Varun Chakravarti shares the first rank with an impressive percentile of 99.9999019.

In addition to his exceptional performance, Varun Chakravarti also achieved the distinction of being the national topper in the OBC category, according to the results announced by the National Testing Agency.

Another noteworthy achievement came from Telangana, where K. G. Raghu Rama Reddy secured the 15th rank in the general category with a commendable score of 715 marks.

The success story of Telugu students doesn't end there, as students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have clinched several top ranks in the examination. Among the top 20 female toppers, three students each hail from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while one student from each state secured a position among the top 20 male toppers.

Kani Yasari from Andhra Pradesh secured an impressive second rank in the SC category, securing the all India 40th rank with 710 marks.

In the General-EWS category, Andhra Pradesh's Y. L. Pravadhan Reddy emerged as the topper with an all India rank of 25th, scoring 711 marks.

M. Jyotilal Chavan from Andhra Pradesh excelled in the ST category, securing the top position with 705 marks and an all India rank of 119th. Telangana's L. Madhu Balaji secured the third position in the same category.

Further achievements from Andhra Pradesh include V. Harshil Sai, who secured the 39th rank in the general category with 710 marks, and Kavalakuntla Pranathi Reddy, who obtained the 45th rank with the same score.

Telangana's Jagruthi Bodeddula achieved the 49th all India rank in the general category.

Overall, a total of 42,836 students from Andhra Pradesh qualified the NEET examination, out of the 68,578 who appeared for it. In Telangana, 42,654 students qualified from the 72,842 who wrote the exam.
