The third edition of the much-anticipated culinary extravaganza, Petuk Somabesh, concluded leaving a lasting impression on food enthusiasts and cultural connoisseurs alike.
Held from December 21 to December 25 at the Netaji Play Forum Ground in Agartala, the five-day event celebrated the richness of regional, national, and international cuisines, drawing thousands of visitors. The event was presented by Netaji Play Forum Centre and Curated by Agartala Events for You, a venture of Totell.
This year’s Petuk Somabesh exceeded expectations with an eclectic mix of flavours, vibrant cultural performances, and engaging activities.
With nearly 40 stalls featuring delicacies from across India and beyond, the event was a true paradise for food lovers. From traditional Bengali sweets and Tripuri delicacies to global cuisines there was something for everyone.
Adding to the festive ambience, the band performances energized the crowd, while the ceremonial cake cutting became a memorable highlight of Petuk Somabesh. Band Reyaz, Catalyst, Little Star, Milestone, Bhairabi, BSPG, Agni, The Pillow Records and Music in Soul were performed LIVE in the event.
Various cultural activities like recitation, quiz, folk dance, cooking competition were held on this 5 days program. Fashion showcase on traditional and winter attire by Totell Fashion.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Convener of Petuk Somabesh Arnav Chakraborty said, “We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to the third edition of Petuk Somabesh. It’s heartening to see food bringing people together, fostering cultural exchange, and creating cherished memories.
