E-Office rollout in Tripura will expedite administrative work: CM Dr Manik Saha

The Chief Minister of Tripura, Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, inaugurated the newly renovated and well-equipped video conference hall this evening.

After the inauguration, the Chief Minister held a video conference with the district magistrates of all the districts of the state on e-office in this state-of-the-art and well-equipped video conference hall.

At that time, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Principal Secretary of Information and Technology Department Puneet Agarwal, Secretary of Public Works Department Abhishek Singh were present.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the current Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, has called for building a Digital India.

For this purpose, he has emphasized the use of modern technology.

The state government has started working at a fast pace in response to the call of the Prime Minister.

In the meantime, various government services have been digitized in different departments.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has started the process of implementing e-office in the state to expedite administrative work.

The Chief Minister further said that after that, the district magistrates were instructed to start e-office as soon as possible at the district, sub-divisional and block levels.

It is a matter of joy that the process of implementing e-office has started in various district offices, sub-divisional magistrate offices and BDO offices within a very short time.

For this, the Chief Minister thanked the officials of the Information and Technology Department as well as each department.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is doing commendable work in the implementation of all central projects including e-office.

As a result of the implementation of e-office in the state, the people are getting faster services as well as saving time and money.

Currently, the work of the cabinet and the assembly in the state has also been made paperless, so the Chief Minister expressed hope that the people will get more faster services.

In the event, Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha said that the state government is doing good work in providing digital services.

The state government has emphasized the implementation of digitization system in every field to establish good governance in the state.

As a result, the people of the state are getting the opportunity to avail services at a very fast pace.

After launching e-office in the state, the state government has taken the initiative to launch e-office at the district level, sub-divisional level and block level.

The process of launching e-office in various districts, sub-divisions and block offices has started.

It is expected that e-office will be launched in all the sub-divisions and BDO offices of the state within the next few months.

In addition, the work of the cabinet and the assembly of the state has also been made paperless.
