The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura has announced its newly elected district presidents on Monday.
During a press conference at Kushabhaubhawan today, Dr. Rajdeep Roy, the state Prabhari ( in-charge), unveiled the list.
The announced list includes Gouranga Bhowmik as the District president for Sadar Rural, Asim Bhattacharya for Sadar Urban, Sabita Nath for Gomati, and Binay Deb Barma for Khowai.
Besides, Biplab Chakraborty was elected as the District president of Sepahijala (North), Uttam Das as the District president of Sepahijala (South), Bimal Kar as the District president of Unakoti, Kajal Kumar Das as the District president of North Tripura, Deepayan Chaudhuri as the District president of South Tripura (Pilak), and Patiram Tripura as the District President of Dhalai.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha took to social media to congratulate the new leadership, stating, "I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Gouranga Bhowmik, the newly elected District President of BJP in Sadar Rural. Following today's conclusion of the organizational process, I am proud to congratulate Bhowmik, whose name was announced in Khayerpur.
I am confident that under his stewardship, our organization in this district will grow stronger and more influential in the days ahead."
