North Tripura and Khowai Get New DMs in Latest administrative reshuffle
The state administration under the Government of Tripura on Tuesday transferred two District Magistrates and entrusted additional responsibilities to another IAS officer.
According to the official notification, Dr. Debapriya Bardhan, who previously served as the DM and Collector of North Tripura, has been reassigned as a special secretary. Upon assuming office, he will independently oversee the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs department.
Raval Hamendra Kumar, who was serving as a special secretary, has been relieved of his additional responsibilities in the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs department.
Chandni Chandran, who held the position of DM and Collector in Khowai district, has now been transferred to North Tripura.
Rajan Pant, currently the Director of Urban Development, along with his additional roles as Commissioner of TUDA, Mission Director of Swachha Bharat Mission (Grameen), CEO of Tripura Jal Board, and Joint Secretary in the RD Department (Panchayat and MGNREGA), has been reassigned as the DM and Collector of Khowai district.
Dr. Shailesh will now take on additional responsibilities, including Director of Urban Development, Commissioner of TUDA, Mission Director of Swachha Bharat Mission (Grameen), CEO of Tripura Jal Board, and Additional Secretary in the RD Department (MGNREGA and Panchayat).
