In the realm of dreams and determination, a young prodigy from Tripura, Grandmaster Pragyat Prasun, is an example of what can be achieved through relentless pursuit. He was titled ‘Grand Master’ for his tortoise pose (Kurmasana) on June 23, 2021 and pursued his dream. His aspiration, a dream nurtured for around three years, was to meet the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. He shared his dream during a press briefing in Agartala in the last week of August 2021.
And, Monday was the day, when his dream came true. At the ‘Pariksha pe Charcha’ event held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Pragyat’s dream transformed into reality today.
The young champion had the distinct honor of interacting with the Prime Minister. The event also served as a platform for Pragyat to exhibit his innovative concept - a robotic exoskeleton.
The event also provided Pragyat with the opportunity to engage in a discussion with the Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan. Pragyat shared his future aspirations in the fields of robotics and yoga, expressing his aim to create impactful and positive innovations to enhance the efficiency of human lives.
His robotic exoskeleton, he believes, is the first step towards this ambitious goal.
Originally hailing from Tripura, Pragyat recently relocated to Delhi, fueled by his dreams of earning further accolades for North East India. A self-motivated innovator, Pragyat, currently in the 7th standard, has been crafting robots from electronic scrap since his early years. Under the proficient guidance of the Principal and teachers of KV JNU, Delhi, his nascent interests have evolved into extraordinary innovations.
His achievements are already noteworthy, with eight records to his name in yoga, including an impressive five world records.
