Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhowmik, lauded the equitable and inclusive progress of society in Tripura and the entire country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Bhowmik shared her perspective during a BJP organizational event held in Ampi under the Gomati District of Tripura on Wednesday.
The event was attended by prominent figures such as BJP Vice president Patal Kanya Jamatia and local party leaders. Besides, party activists from various Village Councils and booths participated in the program.
In her address to the gathering, Pratima Bhowmik emphasized, "The BJP government has undertaken numerous welfare initiatives in the State, aimed at promoting the socio-economic development of individuals from both urban and rural backgrounds." She acknowledged that these initiatives have been instrumental in improving the lives of the less privileged.
Under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, significant progress has been witnessed throughout the country.
In Tripura, the ruling BJP government has introduced several schemes and implemented Central schemes, with a strong focus on uplifting the underprivileged sections of society.
Notable among these initiatives are provisions for subsidized rations, self-help group initiatives, supports for the elderly through old-age pensions, and schemes benefiting pregnant women, mothers, and infants.
Bhowmik stressed that these schemes have been implemented consistently across remote indigenous areas, demonstrating the government's commitment to equitable development. She remarked, "Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, our nation has made significant advancements across all sectors. To secure a brighter future, we must unite behind the vision of our esteemed Prime Minister, Narendra Modi."
During the event, the Minister of State engaged with leaders of Ampi Nagar and outlined the Prime Minister's vision.
Other notable attendees included Ampi Mandal president Shibnath Jamatia, General Secretary Prasanta Saha, MDC Shibsonlian Kaipeng, social activist Kavita Jamatia, and Village Council leaders.
