Tripura BJP Prabhari Dr Rajdeep Ray Credits PM Modi for State's Transformative Progress
The newly appointed BJP State Prabhari, Dr. Rajdeep Ray, has lauded the transformative development witnessed in Tripura under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) administration.
Addressing the media on Tuesday, Dr. Ray highlighted the significant strides made in various sectors, attributing the state's progress to the effective governance and policies of the central government.
Dr. Ray, who recently assumed his new role, arrived in Agartala from Silchar on Monday. During his visit, he engaged in various organizational activities and participated in a rally after paying his respects at the Tripurasundari Temple.
Highlighting the transformative progress of Tripura, Dr. Ray said, "Tripura has seen significant changes, from infrastructural development to the effective implementation of the Central government's flagship programs”.
Dr. Ray emphasized the success of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Tripura, which has ensured housing for poor families. Tripura has performed exceptionally well in this regard.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his first cabinet meeting of the third tenure of the BJP government at the Centre, promised an additional 4 crore houses," he noted.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, 83% of families in Tripura now have access to drinking water, with efforts ongoing to extend this facility to more families. Dr. Ray remarked, "The government is diligently working to increase this coverage."
Highlighting infrastructural advancements, Dr. Ray stated, "Tripura has witnessed a massive transformation, with the construction of at least six national highways. Previously, only one national highway existed before the BJP came to power in the state."
Rail connectivity has also improved significantly. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has enabled the people of Tripura to connect with the rest of the nation, especially major cities like Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai," Dr. Ray added.
He praised Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and his team of MLAs, expressing confidence in their ability to drive further progress in the state. "Dr. Manik Saha's leadership, coupled with a dynamic team, promises continued development for Tripura," he said.
In his concluding remarks to reporters, Dr. Ray expressed gratitude to BJP National President J.P. Nadda for his appointment. "I am committed to making the Tripura BJP organization the number one in the country," he asserted.
