Pandit Upadhyay, a renowned writer, philosopher, and political figure, believed in the necessity of a philosophy of life deeply rooted in Indian culture. He held that India's progress and the welfare of its people depended on a philosophy infused with the spirit of Indianness, distinct from Western thought and philosophy.

The Chief Minister noted that India's traditional philosophy is gaining global acceptance, while the influence of Western philosophies is on the decline. Upadhyay's concept of integrated humanism, deeply intertwined with Indian culture, is now prevalent worldwide. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to reintroduce the philosophies of leaders like Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee to the current and future generations. Dr Saha highlighted Upadhyay's belief that progress can only be achieved by uniting under the banner of India's cultural philosophy and harnessing the natural resources available to the nation.

Dr Saha also commended Prime Minister Modi for his leadership on the global stage, particularly during India's role in the G20, and for his commitment to the welfare of every individual in society, aligning with Upadhyay's vision.

Jishnu Dev Varma, former Deputy Chief Minister and guest of honor, lauded Upadhyay's legacy as a leader who advocated for the welfare of all, emphasizing the importance of unity and development for every citizen. He noted that Prime Minister Modi's motto of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' reflects the enduring values of integral humanism rooted in Indian thought.
