Tripura Government to introduce 9-Super Specialty Departments in GBP Hospital soon, says CM Dr Manik Saha

Tripura Government will introduce nine super specialty departments in GBP Hospital in Agartala very soon.

 

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, after inaugurating a 50-bedded sub-divisional Hospital in Karbook under Gomati district on Wednesday (Nov 16), said the super specialty facilities will soon be introduced to improve the healthcare delivery services.

 

He also said, “The present government is continuously improving the Primary Health Centers (PHCs) as well as the Community Health Centers (CHCs) throughout the state”.

Today the Ramkumar Naruiha Community Health Center (CHC) of Karbook Sub-division was upgraded to a 50-bed sub-division hospital.

 

Referring to the upgradation of the CHC to the sub-division Hospital, he said, our government is committed to take health services to all the sections of society.

 

Speaking in the programme, Dr. Saha said, the present state government is working with a priority to meet the basic needs of the people. He also said, the state government is working with the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Viswas’ for socio-economic development of all sections of people.

Dr Saha also inaugurated two-storied building of Panjiham Higher Secondary School today and stressed to build the future generation stronger by making education inclusive.

 

Among others, MP Rebati Tripura also spoke on the occasion. Repferring the health and education sectors of the State, the MP said, “The state government continues to give utmost importance to the education and health sector, resulting in improved education and health infrastructure in the state today.”

 

In today’s programme, MLA Ranjit Das, District Magistrate of Gomati district- Govekar Mayur Ratilal, Higher Education director N.C. Sharma, social activist Abhishek Debroy, CMO Gomati Dr. Nirumohan Jamatia and chairman of BAC, Karbook- Asim Tripura were also present.
