Tripura News: CM offers puja, takes part in several activities on PM Modi's 71st birthday

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb greeted Prime Minister of his 71^st birthday. Deb also offered puja at Tripureswari Temple on Friday wishing a long and healthy life of the Prime Minister.

Offering his respect and Pranamas, Deb mentioned Modi as a great mass leader who effectuated development across the country including Northeastern States, especially Tripura and greeted him on behalf of people of the State. He visited Ma Tripureswari Temple at Matabari and offered puja for the Prime Minister.

In a tweet, Deb said,  “On the occasion of Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji's birthday, visited Maa Tripursundari temple and prayed for his long and healthy life. May India continue to march ahead on the path of development under his leadership”.

He launched ‘Seva Aur Samarpan Abhiyan’ from the temple. Referring to the Abhiyan, he tweeted, Inspired by Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, who has dedicated his whole life to improving the livelihood of most vulnerable groups of society, launched ‘Seva Aur Samarpan Abhiyan’ from Matabari Temple on his birthday & distributed clothes to the beneficiaries”.

“Took part in cleanliness drive organized at Matabari temple. On Hon'ble PM Shri  @narendramodi Ji's birthday, let's carry forward the #SwachhaBharat mantra given by him and pledge to clean every part of the state and make #Tripura #Swaccha as envisioned by him”, Deb tweeted.

Commemorating the 71^st Birthday of the Prime Minister, Deb was present in a programme held Vivekananda Vichar Manch in Udaipur today. In the programme, the Manch donated a wheel chair to Nitya Gopal Dey of RK Pur area and books to Asmit Dey – a class X student of Brahmabari in Udaipur. Deb hailed the initiative.

Later, Biplab Kumar Deb along with MoS for Forest, Consumer Affairs etc  Ashwini Choubey attended a programme to mark the birthday of Narendra Modi at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala. In the programme, Deb inaugurated a three-day long ‘Nababharat Mela’ as part of ‘Seva Aur Satkar Abhiyan’. During the programme,  he felicitated sportspersons and others including child chess player Arshia Das.
