Tripura News: Techno College of Engineering Agartala launches 6 more new courses at Diploma, Degree levels
Agartala Techno College of Engineering has opened a new horizon in technical education. Six new courses at Diploma and Degree level have been introduced at Techno College of Engineering Agartala keeping in mind the most popular modern technical education in the country and abroad in the present era.
The new courses were inaugurated at Rabindra Bhavan on September 18 last in the presence of Minister for Education and Law Ratanlal Nath, Minister for Information and Culture Sushanta Chowdhury and eminent educationists of the state. The new courses added at the diploma and degree level are: Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Big Data, Construction Automation, Mechatronics and Industrial Automation, Civil Engineering with Computer.
Dr. Kisor Ray, Director General, Techno India Group and Kunal Ganguly, Director, Techno India Group and Dr. Dibakar Deb, Principal, Techno College of Engineering Agartala was present and briefed the media on October 7, 2021 regarding their new courses on Emerging Technologies at both Degree and Diploma Level at Techno College of Engineering Agartala, keeping in pace with the motive of MHRD, Govt. of India to prepare future Engineers.
They said the acceptance of these courses in India and abroad are increasing day by day and the path of employment is being widened. Even in the difficult situation of Covid, by studying in these courses of modern engineering and technical education in public and private sectors, jobs are being obtained through campus interviews. There are also opportunities to earn sitting at home or work to home.
Dr. Kisor Ray, Director General, Techno India Group and Kunal Ganguly, Director, Techno India Group also said that the Techno College of Engineering Agartala has almost free education opportunities for the socially and economically backward minorities and SC, ST and OBC students of the state. There are also various government scholarship arrangements.
Due to some delay in getting the required approval, Techno College of Engineering Agartala could not participate in the counseling for admission in the first and second rounds of admission counseling organized by the state higher education department this year. But due to the special opportunity of Sport Admission organized by the State Department of Higher Education, students who have got 45 percent marks in Madhyamik Science Group and English will be able to get admission in these new courses at Techno College of Engineering, Agartala.
It was also announced that the Techno College of Engineering Agartala has special arrangements for job placement of degree level students as well as diploma level students. Over the last several years, due to the relentless efforts of the officials of the Training and Placement Cell of the Techno College of Engineering, Agartala, many students of the college have got employment opportunities in various reputed companies in the country and abroad, they said.
