Jewels Association Crushes Town Club
In another fixture of the Shyamsundar Co. Jewelers Chandra Memorial League Football, also held at the Umakanta Mini Stadium, Jewels Association delivered a dominant 4-1 victory over Town Club.
Town Club, who had previously held Forward Club to a draw, came into the game with growing support and expectations. However, they were thoroughly outplayed by Sujit Ghosh’s Jewels Association side.
The heavy downpour from midday left the field slippery and severely hampered Town Club’s gameplay. The match, played under floodlights, saw Jewels Association taking full control from the first whistle.
Having suffered a defeat in their previous outing, Jewels Association bounced back in style, lifting their spirits with this emphatic win. From start to finish, their players outpaced and outperformed their opponents.

Goals for Jewels Association came from Semi Moyan, Bhenga Darling, Lal Engais Darling, and Thongam Singh, while Jon Jamatia scored the lone goal for Town Club.
Jewels Association not only dominated in attack but also controlled possession throughout the game, showcasing superior speed, technique, and strength. Referee Aditya Debbarma oversaw the proceedings.
