Dr. Abir Lal Nath, Assistant Professor of Neurology, promptly diagnosed a rare cerebral aneurysm and explained that an advanced Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) followed by coiling was essential to save her life.
Despite Dr. Nath’s guidance, Monika’s family sought treatment at the prestigious CMC Hospital in Vellore, hoping for better prospects. There, specialists reaffirmed the need for the very same DSA procedure advised in Tripura—an affirmation that slowly began to shift the family’s perspective.

Upon their return to Tripura, the desperate family turned to Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, seeking referral to an out-of-state facility.
