Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today termed the mandate as the victory of self respect of the people of Bihar.

Talking to reporters in Patna Kumar promised that he will fulfill the aspirations of the people of the state. He said people of Bihar have chosen solidarity of the grand alliance ignoring the aggressive campaigning of NDA.

Kumar also said he is not biased against anybody and will welcome the support from everybody for all round development of the state.

Nitish Kumar opined that the result of the state assembly will decide the fate of national politics. He also said although he got big victory in elections but he will respect opposition in the state.

Kumar also expressed gratitude to Prime minister Narendra Modi and Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

Overwhelmed by the amazing poll results , RJD president Lalu Prasad today boldly claimed that the verdict of Bihar assembly elections has marginalized Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Lalu Prasad announced in Patna that the Grand alliance will now move throughout the country to convince people about the false promises made by PM.

Lalu Prasad specially thanked women for expressing their solidarity in favour of JDU, RJD and Congress alliance and for not getting misguided by BJP stalwarts including its president Amit Shah.

Replying to a question Lalu Prasad said there is complete understanding among allies of grand alliance.

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has termed Bihar poll outcome as defeat of divisive agenda of BJP and RSS.

Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Rahul Gandhi termed the grand alliance’s triumph ,a victory of unity over divisiveness, humility over arrogance and love over hate.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the Bihar poll verdict was a referendum against the Narendra Modi government .

He expressed the hope that after today’s results, the Centre’s interference in Delhi and other states would end.

Congratulating the people of Bihar on the victory of grand alliance, CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said the Modi wave was on the wane and the real achhe din have begun for the people of India. (With inputs from AIR News)
