Oppn parties submit impeachment notice against CJI

April 20, 2018: Congress and some other parties leaders today met Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu and gave notice for impeachment against Chief Justice of India (CJI).

Later, Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, Senior Congress Leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said, seven political parties in the Rajya Sabha have signed the motion. He said, 71 MPs including seven retired members belonging to various political parties have signed the notice for impeachment proceedings. (AIR News)
