February 27, 2018: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said the NDA government has increased the Minimum Support Price of crops by one-and-a-half times in 48 months of its rule to benefit farmers.
He said the government is heading towards doubling MSP in five years. He was addressing a farmers’ rally in Davanagere district of Karnataka today.
Mr Modi accused the Congress of neglecting farmers during 48 years of its rule in the country. He also charged the Siddaramaiah government with promoting corruption in the state.
Speaking on the Statue being constructed in the name of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Mr Modi said it is for unity and will be twice taller than the Statue of Liberty in the US. (AIR News)
