PM Modi to visit Pathankot Punjab today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Pathankot in Punjab today for first-hand assessment of the situation at the Air Base, which was attacked by six terrorists on the 2nd of this month.

Earlier Friday, security forces declared that the sprawling Air Force station in Pathankot has been fully sanitised after a massive combing operation spanning over three days. A senior IAF official said that the operation to ensure that no terrorist is hiding was carried out jointly by Army, National Security Guard and IAF’s Guard Commandos.
