April 28, 2018: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday arrived in New Delhi after a two-day informal summit meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Wuhan. The Prime Minister was received at the airport by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi wrapped up his two-day visit to China with both the countries underlining the importance of maintaining peace and tranquility in all areas of their border region in the larger interest of the overall development of bilateral relations.The two neighbouring Asian giants resolved to seek a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable settlement of the vexed boundary question.
At the end, both the leaders expressed their support for the work of the Special Representatives on the India-China Boundary Question and urged them to intensify their efforts to seek a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable settlement. ….. (DD News)
