Interim Budget: At a glance

Agartala, February 01, 2019: Union Finance Piyush Goyal presented Interim Budget in Parliament today with a Budgetary estimate of fiscal deficit for 2019-2020 at 3.4 per cent of GDP which is same as to revised fiscal deficit estimate of 2018-2019. Accordingly, Revenue deficit and Primary deficit (calculated as difference between fiscal deficit of the current year and interest payments on the previous borrowings) remain unchanged during 2019-2020 compared to 2018-2019.
