December 14, 2018: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb lashed out at the Congress president Rahul Gandhi and hailed Supreme Court’s order on Rafale deal in Agartala today. He said, Rahul Gandhi should seek apology from the countrymen for leveling false allegation on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Rafeal deal.
Addressing a press conference today in Agartala, Deb thundered, “A conspiracy was hatched against the Prime Minister on the Rafael deal. And, a malicious campaign on the false allegation leveled by the Congress president was carried out all over the country.”
Deb did not spare Dr Manmohan Sigh and CPI-M either. While blaming the then UPA Prime Minister Dr. Singh for the delay in Rafael deal, Deb said the Congress president should apologize for his false allegation before the countrymen.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working tirelessly to make the country best in all fields. In such a situation, the malicious campaign by Congress on Rafale was aimed at undermining the confidence of the Prime Minister. The Congress utilized the Rafale issue to derail PM’s initiatives”, he said.
Training guns on CPIM, Deb alleged, the Congress and CPI-M leaders of Tripura had also designed a conspiracy against Narendra Modi in this regard — they should also seek apology from the people of state.
“The governance being delivered by the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is transparent. The present central government is working for all sections of the people,” he claimed.
Education minister Ratanlal Nath, BJP state general secretary Pratima Bhowmik and party spokesperson Dr. Ashok Sinha were also present in the press conference.
