Agartala, February 09, 2019: The NDA government is working on five strategies for ensuring Vikash in the country which eye at “बच्चो की पढाई, युवाओ को कमाई, बुजुर्गो को दवाई, किसानो को सिंचाई, जन जन की सुनवाई” – these strategies are well highlighted in the Budget placed by the NDA government and will immensely benefit the children, youth, elders, farmers and common people of Tripura.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this today while addressing a public rally in Agartala today. He also announced that Tripura would become gate-way of North East as well as South East countries after Feni Bridge becomes operational.
Referring to his earlier slogan of “HIRA” – Highways, Internet, Railways and Airways for Tripura, Modi mentioned about new projects like Feni Bridge, Waterway connection with the Ashuganj port etc. He said, all these efforts would turn Tripura into a commercial hub of the South East Asia.
The Prime Minister today also formally dedicated Garjee-Belonia Rail route to Nation and also unveiled a book written by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and a statue of Maharaja Bir Bikram, the creator of modern Tripura as a part of central government’s most recent campaign of honouring the unsung “Hero”s throughout the country.
Apart from detailing about NDA government’s achievements and 11-month old Tripura Government’s successes, the Prime Minister launched an all round campaign against Opposition and slammed hard the concept of Mahagothbandhan by calling it Mahamilavat (adulterated).
Turning his focus on achievement of BJP-led Government, PM Modi mentioned about several welfare schemes targeting welfare of common people including Ayushman Bharat and farming sector related schemes. He also mentioned about Budget proposals which ‘no other Government could even imagine and mention in past – the proposals will benefit larger section of the society.
Taking a potshots at CPI-M, he said, “The people who claimed that they are proletarians had contributed nothing but playing vote bank cards but in the recent budget the central government incorporated instant solution of the monetary constraints that the dawn to dusk workers confront everyday”.
Venting ire on the opposition—the Left, the brigade and the Congress, naming no one he alleged, there are hundreds of leaders based in Delhi who are in the run up to ‘abuse’ “Modi” on every occasion and issue.
A flock of leaders who are yet to bridge their own differences, are now in competition of abusing Modi. Whatever you ask to them, they will answer you with only one thing—an abuse for Modi. The more you ask the more abuses will be chanted, sometimes with a greater pitch, he claimed.
The Prime Minister said, the government is striving to attain Vikas based on five strategies – ‘education for children’, ‘earning scopes for youths’, ‘treatment facilities for elders’, ‘irrigation for farmers’ and ‘hearing the voice of people’. And for this a “Majboot(strong)” government – not a ‘Mazboor” government as mooted by grand alliance – in the Centre is necessary. Asserting that only BJP-led NDA can give a Mazboot government, he assured helping the state in all possible ways for faster growth.
“I am sure the mandate of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections will for a Majboot government than a Mazboor government, he concluded.
