In a minor rejig in police administration, the state government has transferred five IPS officers. Meanwhile, two police officers got posting after completion of their probation period.
As per the order, Jal Singh Meena, Supdt of Police, South Tripura, has been transferred and posted as commandant at 3rd-Bn, TSR with headquarter at Delhi along with additional charge of AIG (TSR).
Sankar Debnath, SP (Vigilance) with additional charge
of SP (Special Branch), has been transferred and posted as SP (Special Branch) with additional charge of SP (Vigilance).
Dr. Kulwant Singh, commandant of 13th-Bn TSR, has been transferred and posted as SP, South Tripura.
Haripada Das, AIG (TSR) with additional charge of AIG (Welfare), PHQ, has been transferred and posted as AIG (Welfare), PHQ.
Shashvat Kumar, SDPO Sadar with additional charge of Dy SP (CAW), West Tripura, has been transferred and posted as Addl. SP (Urban), West Tripura.
Meanwhile, two IPS officers Kanta Jahangir and Ramesh
Ch. Yadav have been given posting as SDPO Dharmanagar and SDPO Amarpur respectively on completion of the probation period.
