Agartala May 5: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha will visit Amarpur sub-division in Gomati district of Tripura on Tuesday to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for development projects worth Rs. 188 crore.

The highlight of the visit will be the inauguration of the new office building of Thakchara Gram Panchayat, an all-women-led institution under the Amarpur RD Block, celebrated for its exemplary contributions to rural governance.

In the video, Lata Dey, the panchayat’s Pradhan, talked about plans to convert the old panchayat building into an Anganwadi Centre and expand the new facility into a two-storied structure.

From Chandibari ground in Amarpur, the Chief Minister will inaugurate 34 completed projects and lay the foundation stones for 22 new ones, collectively valued at Rs. 120.96 crore on Tuesday.
A significant highlight is the Rs. 67 crore tourism infrastructure project covering Chabimura, Fatik Sagar, and Amar Sagar, designed to elevate Amarpur’s tourism potential and boost local economies.
