Tripura: Agartala-Deodhar Express trains cancelled for landslides on rail tracks

The Agartala-Deodhar Express trains have been cancelled owing to waterlogging and landslide in rail tracks at different places. Besides, several other trains Agartala bound and from Agartala have also been partially cancelled or short terminated. 

In view of waterlogging and landslides on the rail tracks at different locations due to heavy rain, several trains have been cancelled and partially cancelled or short terminated and short originated.

Among the cancelled trains, the Agartala-Deoghar Express and Deoghar- Agartala Express have been cancelled.

“Agartala – Deoghar express, commencing journey on 14^th May, 2022 has been cancelled between Agartala and Deoghar.

Deoghar – Agartala express, commencing journey on 16^th May, 2022 will remain cancelled between Deoghar and Agartala”, an NFR Press release mentioned.

Besides, several trains were partially cancelled or short terminated and short originated.

While the Sealdah-Agartala Kanchanjungha express, commencing journey on 13^th May, 2022 has been short terminated at Maibang and remained partially cancelled between Maibang and Agartala, the Agartala – Sealdah Kanchanjungha express, commencing journey on 14^th May, 2022 has been short terminated at Badarpur, originated at Maibang and will remain partially cancelled between Badarpur and Maibang.

Agartala – Bangalore Cant. Humsafar Express, commencing journey on 14^th May, 2022 has been short terminated at Badarpur and will remain partially cancelled between Badarpur and Bangalore Cant.

Rani Kamalapati – Agartala special, commencing journey on 12^th May, 2022 has been short terminated at Lumding and will remain partially cancelled between Lumding and Agartala.

Agartala – Rani Kamalapati special, commencing journey on 16^th May, 2022 will be short originated at Guwahati and will remain partially cancelled between Agartala and Guwahati.

 Apart from these, many other trains run through Jatinga Lumpur and New Harangajao, Bandarkhal and Ditokcherra sections and other several locations in Lumding – Badarpur hill section of Lumding division.
