Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a two-day national officer-bearers meeting at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Monday (Dec 5).
The meeting is being attended by BJP national president J.P. Nadda, party state presidents and general secretaries.
Rajya Sabha MP from Tripura – also the State Prabhari of Haryana – Biplab Kumar Deb, Tripura Pradesh BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee and Tripura Pradesh Prabhari Dr Mahesh Sharma attended the crucial meeting.
With the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections are over, BJP is set to focus on upcoming State Assembly Polls in other States including Tripura.
For 2023 Assembly Polls, BJP state leaders have already launched several programme including booth-level campaign and ongoing door-to-door campaign. Besides, the Government is running ‘Sushason’ campaign to take the government schemes to the last man of society. Moreover, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and other Ministers are inaugurating multiple facilities and projects across the State.
Even as BJP State President gave a call to win in 60 out of 60 Assembly seats, top brass of the BJP state and central leaders are unwilling to take any chances. As the Political dynamics in the State is changing – the National Meeting of the office bearers is expected to discuss and analyze the prevailing political situation in the State.
In a coincidence, Tipra Motha – a regional party of Tripura – is holding a demonstration at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. Indigenous voters are a determining factor in at least 20 Assembly seats which are reserved for the ST people – besides they are crucial factor in some other constituencies as well.
With CPIM and Congress are desperately trying to regain some grounds and Tipra Motha is emerging as a political force to reckon with – BJP needs to carefully chart its path and the National Meeting is likely to give leaders from the State to get valuable suggestion to take the poll campaign to the next level.
